About me

Uh oh, You've come to this page hoping to know a little about me *gulp*.

This page is a temporary one, but your welcome to read the following, beware as it contains many typos, no or very little caps and punctuation *me fail English - unpossible*

Well there isn't much to tell really, I'm just a plain old 30 something (will have to change that in 2010, but saves me from having to change it every year) male from New Zealand. If you don't know where New Zealand is don't be alarmed, not many people do as I found out on an overseas trip to America and the UK. But you're here to find out about me not my country.

Umm what do I say? Well I guess I could tell you why I created this site when there are so many other HTML sites out there. I made this site because when I was learning HTML I couldn't find a single site that had all the information. Sure there are some great sites out there, there must be because I learnt it :) but none that covered everything, and I realised why when making this site. To make a site like this you have to go back to when you yourself were learning which is hard because it's hard to unlearn things.

I warn you now because I know I'm going to babble on.

These pages were once apart of one of my other sites, but expanded the information and moved into a site of it's own, I have no intention of charging people to view these pages as this is my good deed in life :)

Gripes: OK I have a place to vent some so here goes, and these are my own grips and don't need commenting on thanks.

I think we should get rid of those sticks, sorry models they use on the catwalk, they are unhealthy unnatural and doesn't do anything for the self esteem of a real woman or young girl. What's a real woman in my eyes? One that can hold her head high no matter what shape or size she is, one that doesn't live (should be to die) to diet as they never work. Have you seen those adverts on television, the before and after photos, they look pretty impressive huh. Well you to can look like that in 1 minute, send no money now ... push your gut out and take a photo standing sideways to the camera, now suck your gut in and take another photo. WOW you lost 100 pounds and it didn't cost you a cent. People are so gullible, look at chain letters (ok we wont go there). Work on this theory, if its to good to be true it is, the camera can fool you very easy, see all those yummy photos of mouth watering roasts etc, know how they are done? Did you know cigarette smoke is often used as the steam coming off them, a clear lacquer can be used to make it look so glassy. Which brings me to my next grip, first impressions and stereotyping (if that's a word).

You may think I'm a pretty decent guy (well before reading all this) offering my sites and knowledge for free, but would bet money on you freaking if you ever meet me (and no I don't want to meet you). Would you believe I have long hair, tattoos, am a refined bad boy still into his fast cars (fast car with real horsepower - V8) etc (I'm a male incase you missed that above). People look at me, see my long hair which is usually tidy but we all have bad hair days and think I'm a bum but I'm just the same as you, I eat, sleep, drink (gave up alcohol) and talk (maybe have an accent) the same as you, well unless your rich and eat all that stuff I can't spell :Þ. Why is it that we do this, judge people I mean, I know the way I look gets me into trouble, the customs officer in my own country thought I was a bad ass until we got talking and saw I was a nice guy :). Why does blond hair make you easy (I have brown hair), why does having big breasts make you easy, why does having a six pack (the chest six pack) make you a target ... Ohh and on the subject of big breasts. What is the big thing with silicone? I mean they make breasts look so ugly and fake and horrible. I don't know any guy that actually likes then. Each to their own I suppose.

I may be an old fuddy duddy now, but why is wearing a baseball cap backwards cool? Why are big baggy pants cool, and how the hell can they be comfortable? I mean sheesh all these sheep (oops people) follow trends their whole lives and become nobodies, hey people get a life, become your own person. Trends suck, they are mostly stupid, ugly and bad for the body or health (no I'm not a health nut, I smoke too much to be one of them and am addicted to coffee). A lot of my friends follow trends, I call them sheep. They shave the sides of their heads, they get the latest trend whether it is a super cell phone, or money chain that is about 2 feet long and hooks onto your wallet while the other end is on the belt notch.

I have a couple of gay friends (no I'm not gay), when I was first introduced to them (ex girlfriends brother) I admit I freaked. I didn't really want to be around a bunch of 'gays' because they were umm gay I suppose, but I got to know them and they are really nice guys. They are the same as me except they bat for the other team, so why do people judge people by the way we look, the way we talk, the way we socialise?

The government (I won't go there either) makes the cultural thing worse, separate health care, separate this and that, why? We are all equal, ok sure some are smarter than others, some are taller, some have better bodies but we are all the same deep down.

Ok I have gone on long enough (I doubt anyone is still reading this ha ha) but if you are then I guess I should say good bye and wish you happy travels.

I'm no one to give advice, but if I were to, this would be some of it:

Kids - don't be in a hurry to grow up, and don't try to do everything while your young. Trust me when I say you'll enjoy most things when you're in your twenties or thirties, yep that sounds so old but when your there you'll know what I'm talking about, a childhood is something you can never get back.

Teenagers - You may think your parents are old foggies but they were young once too and were probably worse than you, but ask any adult and you'll probably hear the same thing "if I knew what I know now, then I'd had it made". The best advice I wish I had listened to when I was in my teens was to bank 5-10 dollars a week and never touch it until your ready to buy a house. A friend of mine was told the same thing, he listened, and now has a freehold house at the age of 30, so has got money and time to do anything he wants. Also sex is fun sure but don't go having it just because your best friend has, there is nothing wrong with being a virgin and never do it because some guy says "but I love you and if you loved me...". Drugs are not cool, don't be a sheep and follow your stupid mates, be a somebody and say NO

Adults - remember you were young once yourself, things advance and so do people. Let your kids learn from their mistakes but never rub their face in it when they do, support their ideas (if they are reasonable) and if you don't want to be like your parents were to you, then do something about it. Be your kids best friend, they will thank you for it later. Telling your teenage rebelish kids to NOT do something, to them means DO IT. I have been smoking for over 20 years and wish I could quit but I am addicted, I started because it was taboo, it was "cool" to rebel and do what we were told NOT to do.

And this advice to everyone - if you love someone (and teenage boys this doesn't mean to get into some girls panties), tell them you love them. I was lucky I was able to tell my father I loved him before he passed away when I was young, but many people don't get the chance and will always regret not doing so. So now get out of your seat, go up to the one you love, give them a big hug and tell them you love them.

I hope you all have a happy life, don't be afraid to try new things, if you fail try again, if you give up you'll only fail within yourself, live and be happy.

Someone famous (I forget who) once said "The day I stop learning is the day I die" which is true, everyday is a learning day so start each day with eyes wide open and be ready to embrace new and exciting things.

The best of luck to you all
